Here's a brief video of our FIRST PLACE PARADE FLOAT from 4th of July.
This human-powered-parade-float-of-wodtastic-exercise was only possible because of YOU! Here is how it evolved...
When I got the invitation, I thought, it would be cool if we pulled a car. Schnure said "let's get a really big car!" Julio offered up his H2 Hummer. Then Andy offered up his flatbed trailer, and Brian and Christy bought American flag and orange decorations to dress it up! Kyle provided towing straps which allowed us to have 4 lines to pull the rig with. Gracie and Jessica took care of the rush of people wanting to find out more about our gym after we went by, and Scott, Arnold, Hilda, Lois, Logan, Thaddeus, Walsh, Mineo, Garrett, Brian D, Nate, Travis, Jolie and Molokai were all there to pull the rig and workout on the trailer!
What started out as an interesting concept turned into an incredible looking and impressive feat of strength and fitness which represented CrossFit and our gym so well! I couldn't have done it on my own, and the entire group contributed something to make it what it was.
Tiffani and I are so thankful to you all (who we consider our friends more than anything) and for all of your support. It's amazing that you all are so willing to help us out when we need a hand. From moving the gym, to cleaning up, to borrowing things, to recommending us to your friends, to making awesome PR (that's Public Relations in this case) stunts, and so much more I can't even list it, you guys are always there.
I can't think of any other instance where the customers and patrons of a business would be so willing and even eager to help out, and insure the continued success of that business.
Thank you for making running this gym one of the most rewarding and wonderful experiences in my life!
